I have a friend that I've known since I was 8, we'd always watch horror movies or look up disgusting stuff to see who would look away first, however, over the years, he has slowly become more and more of a pussy. Fucking really, I've offered him several times to watch some horror movies, hell even something like Saw,he's turned them all down, and this is coming from a kid who used to stare bravely into things like Ogrish, Rotten.com , and lots of other things,without even showing the slightest amount of disgust, and now he's afraid of Saw? NG I'm afraid my friend has grown in to a full-blown pussy and I need your help to get him back to the way he was, so tell me, what should I do?

I don't watch horror movies myself. I find them boring and stupid as hell. I mean who can be suprised when they played music 2 minutes before the guy got stabbed.

It's all the same crap, and they're shitty movies in my opinion to start with.

It could be the type of gore. I mean, I can look at pictures of dead people in various forms and not bat an eyelash at it. I mean to me they're dead and they can't feel pain any more.

Now, on to your topic, if your friend has grown into a more easily scared individual, it might be possible to show him a very lighthearted horror movie first, and then slowly move back into the 'High Octane Nightmare Fuel' territory you previously occupied. But, if he has just become too afraid of horror movies to watch them anymore, no matter, what I doubt there's much you can do.

There is also the possibility that horror movies are scarier nowadays than they used to be.
