Im aware of that thread, im also aware that it is the mostly ignored thread because of the amount of things people suggest. :P

Just a thought....if a zero bomber votes 0, and the creator votes 5. That would be the equivalent of voting a 3 overall...uhh right?

Not really, due to the difference in voting-power.
But if two people with the same voting-power voted 0 and 5, respectively it would end up as 2.50

Oh my God!!! Every Thread Is Like This, It starts about something like "oh.. i got 0'ed" and then they all say the same thing, change the voting system blah blah blah, guy's many people have said this before, please lets either get back to topic (how to over come 0'ers) or just close the thread...
because all this is turning into is a "Tom you made a stupid voting system, change it" type of thread

On a new note, I have realised actually that the Classical Genre gets 0 Blammed more than any other. :/

that was true only until the redesign in 2007 when magically our flash voting power translated over to the audio portal - but not the blam/protection points.

yes- that and vg. But only if they remember you from al ong time ago - one thing you will also learn about newgroudns is the longer you have been on the site the more they resent you and the more dedicated they will be to destroy you. It's like gravity.

I 100% concur with his statement. I've been on for a while now and it seems like the more places you go and the better your music becomes it doesn't save you from the peoples jealousy.
