There wasn't a film I saw when I was younger than ten that freaked me out, but at twelve, The Haunting remake did freak me out. I hadn't seen a horror film before, so that's probably partly why. The film feels like it's been forgotten now, and if I saw it today, I might not be surprised.

'IT' was probably the only movie that scared me deep down in my soul.

I wasn't scared by very many movies, simply because I never really watched horror movies when I was younger.

... But that damn piano in Super Mario 64 used to freak the shit out of me.

I've never been big into horro r films, so I don't have much experience there. With that, not many films truly creeped me out when I was younger. I thought both of the Terminator films (both seen by me at a reasonably young age) were just cool more than anything, especially the Robert Patrick T-1000... and you know, Arnold Schwarzenegger. The Others was relatively creepy when I first saw it, because, as I say, I've never been all that with it when it comes to horror.

That said, my parents were both scared about me seeing Jurassic Park or the film version of Roald Dahl's The Witches (I loved Dahl's books as a kid, he really clocked on to the fact that kids actually like being a little creeped out). I don't remember the latter, but I've seen the former about a thousand times now, thanks to satellite TV. It's a good film.

I've probably mentioned this before here, but do you know what creeped me out as child, even though it's not really a movie? This Sesame Street sequence. Yeah, try sleeping now.

I was afraid of The Ghost and Mr. Chicken. I wasn't afraid of Don Knotts I was afraid of the "ghost" in that film. I remember that the tape began rewinding on its own after the film.

He scared me too. One time, my brother and I were in the living room at about 1 A.M. and there came a noise from the kitchen. Stuff on the counter was falling off. E.T. walked in sight and said, "Sorry, my bad." My brother and I went to bed under the covers immediately. When I woke up, my dad said, "Why is all this stuff on the floor?"

The bastard probably hired a midget in a costume.

My gut is telling me no...but my gut is also very hungry....

The clown from Stephen Kings "IT". Pennywise.....Dam, my dad let me watch it (he gave me the choice to watch the movie or go to bed) when I was around 6 years old. I should've went to bed. To this day clowns still freak me out, and I can't sleep for days after I see that movie.

Well, when I was at a family's friends house being watched their kids were older than me. They would never leave on channel on at a time and would always flip through the channels and one time they stopped on a movie channel were Seed of Chuckie was on, and they stopped at the part when he beheaded some random security guard with wire. *cringe* i couldn't sleep for a week. Literally. My parents took me to a doctor cause they thought i had insomnia.

I thought so too. I tried to avoid that room as much as possible, in fact, I hated the entire level :(

Also, any Chucky movie terrorized me.

This following statement is true...

Twister. Watched when I was 6 or 7, and i made me paranoid about driving in the middle of the night on the road surrounded by open fields.
