Until then, I'll be in and out.

I always play that sort of game on easy anyway. I'm shit at them, but they're still fun.

I always get a caterpie, evolve it to a Butterfree, and keep it until Mt. Moon. Cerulean City at the latest. It never gets past level 10, and only my starter reaches level 10 before Butterfree.
Does anybody follow the same pattern. It's such a waste of training since I never use it for some reason. I think the highest level I ever had a butterfree was 16.

I'm so eager to play Trials HD and Splosion man. After almost 2 hours Splosion Man is at like 35%. GAH!! I will probably have to wait til tomorrow. I like the feature where your xbox can still download while it's "off".

if you enjoy extremely bland and mediocre games then go for it
on the plus side the system requirements are pretty low if you're into that sorta thing

Maybe I'm just jaded because I'm used to well polished FPS games like Halo 3, Left 4 Dead, and Killzone 2 but I seriously think it's objectively bad. Lame graphics, lame weapons, and uninspired levels/monsters/everything. If all you enjoy is fragging without caring about any of that then you might like it. I also believe it's only 20$ now so it might be worth it at that price, but you might as well just play Left 4 Dead since it's way better and only 10$ more.

Just wait til I grab the game.

Halo 3 is polished. Doesn't mean it's good, but damn the graphics are polished like a rich businessman's shoes in the 1910's.
i dont give a fuck a million dollars im a samurai
Guys, I have the following PS3 games that I still need to play. Which one should I buy first and why?
Uncharted
LittleBig Planet
Final Fantasy 7 (PSN port for 10$)
Any PSN game (I have none of them)
Killzone 2
Infamous (I HAVE played a demo, and it was fairly good.)
Batman Arkham Asylum
Bioshock
Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe (a friend brought it over and it was pretty sweet)
Street Fighter 4
Haze
Or should I wait for some of the many awesome Winter games coming up?
Mario&Luigi 3: (coming in 10 days for North America, almost definitely will be DS Game of The Year says Nintendo Power with a review score of 9.5)
Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles: (superior sequel to Umbrella Chronicles coming November 10th
COD MW2: (most likely Game of the Year coming November 11th)
New Super Mario Bros. Wii: (doesn't look all too impressive, but hey, it's Mario Bros. 6.)
Ratchet and Clank: Crack in Time: (should be an awesome step up from the previous title)
What else am I missing?

I can't wait for this gem to be released. I have to wait for October 22nd though, unfortunately.

My deepest apologies on behalf of the Western Side. Do you guys think of yourselves as part of the Western World? You are in the Pacific, closer to the Americas than Japan if I'm not mistaken. Sail to the Northeast and you'll end up in California I think.
Psst, I remember Zero Punctuation talking about it. A place called GameTraders Ravina. It's where he got games as early as us despite being in Australia. I don't know about it, but you should look it up.
I'm whispering because I don't want to reccomend a store that likely imports games. It might be against the rules over the internet.

Well, I'm pretty sure we're closer to Japan lol. We are 'western', despite being in the 'East' I suppose. Blame the English.
Psst, GAMETRADERS ROBINA
Yeah, importing is an option I suppose. Depends if the postage costs are going to outweigh the cost of buying from the US. Generally I think that might be the case actually, since we get a huge markup on games here. How much do you generally pay for DS games?

Sorry, worded it wrong. There are less miles between Australia and the Americas, than the miles between Japan and the Americas.

Brand new DS games go for 30$, sometimes 35$, but I've only seen that on Final Fantasy games.
After a month or two for actually good games, it goes down to 30$, and from there is debatable. I shop for used games at Gamestop, so the cost could be anything.
I'm sorry, my knowledge of other countries is limited due to age. What currency do Australians use?

Fair enough, probably not too difficult to make that mistake I guess.

US$35?! Holy shit.

We use AU$. According to my un-trusty Windows sidebar, we get 85 US cents per Aussie dollar, which comes to around $41 for a US$35 game. In comparison, a new DS game here costs AU$70.
If the shipping etc. is less than AU$30, I'll probably import.
I just wanted to post here to keep this thread alive. Do you think ubisoft will ever change the Far Cry 2 matchmaking system so that not every single person has to be ready to start the game?

Sounds good, check it out.

Well, right now I'm doing my part to try to keep this thread alive. More people should post here. I just wanna say, that Shadow Complex is a very good XBOX Live arcade game. I would seriously recommend it. Trust me, it is worth the 1200 MP. Even though it's only single player, it is possibly one of the best arcade games there are. That's all I have to say.
pffffft, arcade games are a waste of money compared to real games.
If only I could rent them like I can retail games, I'd be happy.
Can't wait to get the Borderlands.
Just thought I should tell all you people that are going to get it as well.
We can co-op and shit.

Definitely looks interesting, that's for sure. And Gearbox are generally quite reliable, so it should turn out well. I guess we'll have to wait for the release though.
The co-op aspect looks like it should be fun though.
