I usually don't post in shitty threads made of lists, like:

Title: Wat is ur favorit drink??
Body: mines COke, wat's urs?

It's just too +1. And they're usually four pages long. I'm not reading four pages of "My favorite drink is Coke, too".

Unless a thread is very interesting, I usually don't post in it if it's over 5 pages and I haven't watched the discussion happen, because I don't feel that it's worth my time to read the whole thing just to post something that is most likely unnecessary.

I also usually don't post in threads of dumb arguing, because I have no desire to argue with someone who is angry and uninformed, and of course I don't post in threads that are going to be locked for spum.

It's best to avoid these kind of threads-

Religion threads: These spin out of control faster than anyone can imagine. It turns into a huge "SHOW ME PROOF" thread with no proof shown on either side, because no side has contrete evidence to disprove the other.

Poor grammar/spelling threads: Not only can you not understand them half of the time, but it turns into "Lern2grammar" responses. And then OP gets angry because they have an apparent learning disability.

Favorite ______ threads: Userpages. We have them.

Threads with Mad As Hell emote: It's a confirmed fact Mad As Hell faic is used by no one but idiots and trolls. Stay away.

Anime threads: The formula follows as such-

A. User posts anime thread (E.g. Favorite Show or discussion of the style)
B. First response "Anime is gay" followed by "seconded" "thirded" etc.
C. Users defend the style and list their favorite animes
D. The NG /a/nime club sees the thread and sees the list of another user and posts picture akin to the attatched below.
E. The NG /a/nime club proceeds to mock those animes for whatever reason they see fit.
F. Users post how everyone has their tastes, using this to +1 but remain neutral in the argument.
F. Continue any steps nessecary until moderators lock thread.

I'm sure there's others, but I know the above to be true.
