I'm guessing you mean the 28 Days Later infected, and ordinary zombies.

The infected are faster and perhaps even slightly more resourceful than most zombies (they seem to have less difficulty in taking down barriers and overcoming obstacles to reach their prey), so on a short-term basis I'd agree with you. They'd kick zombie-ass.

On a long-term basis, I'd have to pick the zombies. From what I know, they have the advantage of taking a much longer time to starve, compared to the infected. I mean, those guys are on the ground gasping and dying after a month or two, whereas in some apocaliptic movies the ZOMBIES take about half a year to start showing serious signs of...malnutrition.

In a match like say 50 to 50... I'd say infected...

They can actually, think,and they and have almost superhuman strength and speed.
But on the other hand... they are still human, a shot to the heart can kill one... as can loss of blood and other things...

Zombies... well they are slow, have only the physical abilities of the human that they once were, and their brain has only one functional thought... eat human flesh.

But they feel no pain... at all. And they can only be killed in one fashion... destroying the brain.

In a long term, massive battle... the zombies would win.

They never starve... and the only way they die from not having the brain destroyed is decomposition which could take years...

Infected could die of starvation, or other ailments.

Infected seems like they have AIDS, which would probably make them more hilarious making it harder to bring your self to shoot them. But zombies are much stronger due to their lack of feelings. So a normal zombie would be far harder to kill than an infected.

zombies are just infected people that are being used like puppets by a semi-inteligent virus.
infectet are about hte same except they are infected witha different type of virus so either way, they are already dead/dying so they bolth lose.
