Most people have horrible taste in music. When they listen to music I love, they normally say its boring and that they don't like it.

But I have the superior judgement, because I actually play music and have a developed ear.

Music is kind of personal and different to everyone, just do what I do and don't worry about what others think of my music as long as it isn't offensive to other cultures/races/etc.

happens to me too. but i don't go around exclaiming that i have 'superior judgement', i'll probably just say 'you're music taste sucks' . which is true because it really is. (fall out boy, lady gaga, my chemical romance, <insert name of overrated band here>, yuck.)

Also, it's all about opinion at the end of the day - who's to say one thing is superior to the other? Nobody is deserving of that to say so. If one thing pleases one person instead of another, then so be it - you can't expect to be pleased by all the same shit.

It's because it is in fact boring. Musicians have a tendency to be impressed by technical skill rather then how it actualy sounds. It's why most metal-heads I know play metal, cuz it's teh f4st0rz!!!

I find that all Music, regardless of genre, can still be good. So i try not to judge by genres. Though...some to me, tend to be better or worse then others. Screamo, for example, i don't like nearly as much as Grunge or Classic Rock.

Metal, Rock, Hardcore, Punk, Grunge, is the only type of music I hear to, I respect other tastes, but fuck... Tokyo Hotel, Portuguese shit, Disney Channel stuff, music that appears in MTV... what is this? It's the total musical degradation. When Metallica launched Death Magnetic Portuguesa MTV didn't spoke anything about Metallica and considered Linkin Park the artist of September Month, and I just thought when I saw that: "WTF?" People who play music in different genres and areas have different judgments on that certain genre and its opposites. Someone who plays metal will have positive judgment on metal and rock maybe, yet may have negative judgment on jazz/blues, and the other way around for other musical genres. It's all according to taste in music.

People don't like my style of music, mainly because I have no consistancy other then I enjoy most classical music like Bach, Beethoven, and Motzart. Right now I am listening to a Norweigan song Bak Et Hallelujah, by one of the best story telling bands ever called Kaizer's Orchestra.

Well... Metallica sucks. No offense because I hate to be "This guy" but they sold out on the metal community, also their new album sucked to be honest. I say this with respect It's my opinion against yours. I'm a Megadeth fan so that's another reason why i don't like etallica.

Well, I did listen to it to see if I would get into it. But the person who produced the album did a crap job because Most of the songs were to Bass-E and had to much fuzz to me. I would no because I'm studying to become a producer.
