Like almost everyone else has said, Morgan Freeman. However there are other voices that I think are pretty awesome too, like Don LaFontaine, Johnathan Goldsmith (Most interesting man in the world), and Dom Fera from the lazer collections on Youtube.

I also imagine Sir Edward Carson to have had a heck of a voice.

umm, this is a wuestion with no answer.
The answer is based on current knowladge of the past and a a result, future and current voices are nto factored in and teh result is a question that cannot be answered unless you have heard every voice that ever was and will be.

I´m a little suprises no-one mentioned Sean Connery yet. He has the best narrator voice imo, although I like Morgan Freeman as well.
