I think that the bible is right and revelations describes what will happen in 2012. forget the mayans and their shitty people it matches how jesus will come back and the world will end. 9 eleven and the swine flu are part of the plague that god has put on the world that he described on the bible. I just have a really fucking strong feeling. Obama's gonna lose the election in 2012 and John McCain will win i think, and he's probably gonna launch are war with China. Maybe thats why the world will end Fallout 3 style nuclear bombs everywhere. But Jesus will come.

look, i highly doubt disaster on 2012 will occur, because in 1998 the world was going to end, and we are still here. in 2000 they said the world will end, we're still here. Why do we think the world will end in 2012? Sure, the Mayans were smart people, but just because their Calendar ends December 21st 2012 doesn't mean they are smart enough to make the world's fate.

It doesn't mean anything. The Mayans are not some long lost civilization. They have decedents versed in their traditions. Penn and Teller interviewed a Mayan princess and she said the wold is not going to end in 2012.

Since she probably has a better clue then western doomsayers who feel that there must be some significance to a calender made hundreds of years ago running out of days. If the end of a calender implied impending doom. Then we world should have ended EVERY DEC. 31st.

I don't know about you, but I don't consider 2000 years "shortly", especially given that the Bible tells us there's about 4000 years from Adam to Jesus.

2000 years is about 50% of all the history that the bible claims lies between the creation of mankind and the birth of Jesus.
