why is my game running slow

hello i would like you guys to figure out why my game might be running slow

here it is you can play it a bit and test how fast it goes when near the ground or enemies or when flying.

wasd to move and j to punch, ; to barf.

i already tried using cacheAsBitmap and the background/ground was changed. before they were images from photoshop but im trying to optimize my game. that still didnt work it is running pretty slow. i am using as3 and using 30 fps.

it may just be your computer because it runs smooth on mine. Try resetting your computer and see if that helps at all

o that may be it is running a little better but there seems to be a little input lag

It's just your computer, ignor it and keep going with it, it looks great so far

What kind of PC are you using?

Believe it or not, if you happen to be using a laptop and running on battery power, it will bog down games.

I messed around for about 2 hours trying to repair some problems in a game, plugged my laptop back in to let it charge while I worked, and found the problem.

Works fine on my computer, try closing other applications whilst working in Flash.

I'm playing on my laptop and it is running slow, it is probably your computer that is the problem, not the actual game.

Works fine for me too.
btw, loving the flying system although the character is kind of odd...
