WOW, I really love that entry. I really couldn't think of anything clever, and I wouldn't even stand a chance against those bad ass artists.

The star thing is RISTAR. I'm disappointed that no one figured it out. One of favorites in my large collection of genesis games.

You should never rush your art, unless thats the emotion you're trying to convey. Your an artist, and if you want people to see you that way you should pour ALL of yourself into your work. Nobodies ever heard of a half ass painting from Da Vinci cuz he rushed himself...

iDudes piece was very well done, he already asked for feedback, obviously he would like to hear what exactly it was that caused him to not win. thats not funny, he doesnt suck.

Anyways, I think it might be due to the lack of totally over the topness. The aliens were creepy, and very well done. but they were small, and are not instantly recognizable.

Like J said, the work is great, but there's the factor of lower recognizeability, when compared to the winners.
Other than that, the perspective could've been a bit more interesting, with more aliens, in their typical attack formation and the like.
Also, most of the winners have this over-the-top EPIC feel to them...

In short, your work was great... However, the guys that won were just that bit better.

Hey guys I need feedback too. I was so antsy about this contest I dreamt that I won fourth place. Sadly I now know my dreams often fall one detail short of reality. I dreamnt that I was emotionally involved with a smart pretty and interesting sexual partner, but I end up with just pretty. :(

I honestly think that Jarvid's piece was far more original and overall better executed than RadioactiveRabies, so I think that Jarvid should've been 4th and Rabies 5th.

Sabtastic just combined two characters also making it not look similar to the original design.
Catoblepas is kinda missing the point as it seems as if he was intentionally fuking it up.
