As i said, repossession men are different from those in america.

In america they deal with not being able to pay credit card bills, so they take everything the person bought WITH said credit card to get them in said debt.
In the UK the house is taken from the person because it is not paid off, the mortgage is still needed to be paid, but cannot be so the house is taken from them, the tennants evicted, and the house cleared and resold.

It's easier to throw the stuff away than to sell it. Most of the stuff would be used, which would make it not even worth selling.

You say you take houses only, that means the person in side STILL has all their items to THEIR own person.

You can not take from them if they paid for these items with their own money. You also do not have the right to shut off electricity or water, the electric/water companies on the other hand, do.
