Why would it make your laptop go slow? All it does is leech battery power...

Slowdown isn't what you should worry about. This thing has been known to make computers freeze, though.

Check out the Perpetual Kid website. It has a bunch of cool little USB gadgets like a USB party kit, fan, fridge, revolving hub ports, and more. It's all so unnecessary but fucking BA like that.

I rather not risk spilling it, or having it explode when I open it or when it gets to cold

Problem is i'd want one big enough to fit a bottle of beer, or at least a 440ml can in. So it'd need to be just a tad higher.

They say it works well to keep an already cold beverage, cold. So I wonder how long it would take to cool down a warm beverage. A day? A week? :P

You said "no longer need to move", then how the bloody fuck is food going to get in there?

You best hope your next answer is a USB ASDA.

Sure isn't worth spending $41 on though.

What's wrong with the old fridge that fits a lot more stuff?

I think this fridge is better supplied as comic relief for a cubicle worker, rather than an actual product.

"HEY Danny what's that on your desk?"
"It's a USB mini fridge!"
"Oh that's pretty cool, how is it?"
"Meh it's alright."

Spend half an hour's effort moving the fridge next to your PC.

Problem solved.
