I hate Coronas though. Waaaay too bitter, especially if you're high.
Shooooot, it has more alcohol content than Bud Light and other cheap light beers. But yeah, it's not beer, it's a malt liquor. I still think it's good, but I drink them rarely.
I've been refurbished and reissued, prepackaged and precooked, decontaminated and deloused, but I still smell, sound, look and feel like shit.
New to the video game forums?
Any of you guys like New Belgium? I was just on this road trip in Colorado and fuck, every restaurant we went to had a selection of good beers. I like the Fat Tire but the 1554 is the tastiest beer I've sampled. It has a lovely rich mouthfeel (that's a word I can use, right? without being an asshole?) and tastes of chocolate.
x
call me mainstream... i love coronas with lime, budlight and miller light and heiniken
My favorite beer is a very rare beer around here, Bud lime, It came out recently, and has been sold out for months now. it also cost between 13 - 16 bucks for 6 of them, same price as that " mud " Guinness.
girr i hate guinness, spend almost 20 bucks for 4 cans of poop.
I've tried Miller Lite when I was 5 and drank a full 12 fl. oz. bottle a few months ago. It tasted like shit then, and it tastes like shit now, yet my uncle drinks it like its nothing.
Keystone Light its like yellow water you can get drunk off.
Well we were dumb enough to think it was gonna happen.
I haven't actually had a beer in a while. Usually I'll have Red Stripe or Magic Hat #9. I think I have a decent amount of liquors though.
* Grey Goose Vodka
* Bacardi (Regular/151/Dragon Berry)
* Jagermeister
* Amaretto Disaronno
* DeKuypers Triple Sec
* Hornitos Tequila
* Tanqueray Gin
* Jack Daniels
* Kaluha Especial
One of the best parts of my trip to Montreal back in June was trying different beers from microbreweries and the beer festival we went to. Most of the stuff I tried was great in comparison to the usual American beer you see. The only problem is that I don't remember any of them. So for my favorite beer, I'll just say most most non American beers.
Hmm... this thread makes me wish I had a beer right now. My favorite beer to just sip and relax with is Alexander Keith's. I drink it when I go out to the bars because it's almost always something that they have on tap. It's tasty, and when you've had a long day it's that first sip that brings you into total relaxation. It's nothing overpowering like Heineken and Stella, and it's easy to drink fast or slow. Goes great with food because of this.
Now don't get me wrong, I still love Stella and Heineken, but I drink those in a different setting. I'll sip one of those if I don't feel like getting drunk at a party. They're tasty as well, but they have a very strong flavor that needs to be enjoyed slowly. You wouldn't want to be washing down spicy wings or nachos with one of these beers.
There's also this local cheap beer whose sole existence is to provide the cheapest beer they can. It's called Bow Valley Lager. The thing is, it tastes better than most beers that you'd be paying $10 / 6 for. If I'm getting drunk around town or at a friends house I'll choose this beer over any other beer. I love the stuff, and it's the absolute cheapest around.
Pale Ale? Lol I remember that in American Pie
Miller Highlife's my kinda shit. I've been on 40s though.
Bouncin' all around the world, I'm a little bunny...rabbit. You want my dick? Come grab it.
I just got wine instead of beer, and despite the fact that it was an amazing wine choice, it tasted like fruit punch, it wasn't beer. I am going bak to the liquor store, TO GET BEER>
Any dark lager is fine with me. I just love the great taste of a cold dark lager.

That caught my eye at work the other day. Is it any good? Might get some tonight if so.
My dad bought some Downtown Brown last summer, I really enjoyed it. It's more of a beer you'd have during a nice meal instead of wine, and it's a little heartier than most beers I've tried too.
I tried alot, but my favourite is Hertog Jan
I go by the motto if it contains alcohol I drink it, but I prefer Amstel and Jupiler above Heiniken, since to my honest opinion Heiniken taste like sewer water.
Shit, scrap that, I just read what the guy before me said, and he's right Hertog Jan's awesome.
I am ashamed of myself for forgetting that.
I'm not much of a beer guy, but of the beers I've had, Keystone has to be the worst. Corona also tastes god awful, even with a lime in it.
Molson Canadian is my absolutely favorite, with Bud Light and Bud Light Lime being a very close second.
I think...I hate... dick.
Busch lite. I'm also starting to like Miller lite since I tried it the first time just last night. I prefer beer over "drinks" like Jungle Juice and Vegasbombs
Gimme a cold lager any day of the week. A few of my favorites are Stella Artois, Kronenbourg, Coors, Budweiser, Heineken, Castlemania XXXX and San Miguel. Yes, they may all be mainstream, but there easily available in this country, cheap (well a few of them anyway) and the best thing ever after a hard days work.

I have to say that I love Ashai :D Man, and it was cheapish. :D
Wychwood Brewery do an ale called Big Bertha. I can't find it anywhere to buy online, but the pub where I work stocked it last Autumn. I quite like ales, so it's a shame I can't buy this anywhere. Oh well, hopefully it'll be on again this year.
My favourite lagers are probably Feldschlösschen and Cobra. Both just slip down without a harsh alcohol taste. I also enjoy Tsing Tao and Miller, but it's impossible to find either on tap anywhere, and bottled beer isn't as good.
Guinness every now and then is always good too, but it's the only stout I've tried. Although a similar beer which I absolutely love is Kilkenny. It's a creamy ale that is pretty similar to Guinness (ie poured 3/4 of the way before being topped-up). Really drinkable stuff, and I have fond memories of getting wankered off the stuff when I was 16 at an irish pub in Düsseldorf.
Some people feel content to pour syrup on shit and call it pancakes their whole lives.
Jack Daniel Has been producing beer for quite sometime now i believe. So he calls it "jack daniels".
Sierra Nevada is what my uncle drinks. I would have to say the best is Rolling Rock, St. Pauli Girl, and Guinness. Worst is Pabst, Milwaukee's Best, Keystone, and Bud light. Any light beer is terrible.
Fuck you.
Well I've mainly tasted beers in Quebec.
Probably over 300 kinds at this point.
I gotta say that I loves me some stout and if you can ever find any vanilla/chocolate stouts, drink the shit out of those.
Here's one kind that is new here in Quebec and pretty delicious ( picture bellow )

Beeradvocates ranks it as "outstanding". As they fucking should. This stuff is great and you can buy it in 6 packs, luckily. And if you really want to talk beer, get an account on that site and then use the search function to see what other people say about the beers you tried.
I find that I'm usually decently on the money as far as guessing what people will say about a beer on there.
Oh and that thing where you put an orange slice in Blue Moon? That works for just about any light beer. You can put lime or orange slices in just about all the whites, pale ales and lagers and it'll taste better. Why? Because they're usually so tasteless and bland at the base that adding fruit to them can only improve them.
At 8/7/09 03:31 AM, MercatorMap wrote: Blue moon is far from tasteless and bland sir.
For having tasted probably 30-40 different types of "white" beers, I gotta say Blue Moon is one of the blandest.
It just sits there, halfway between Coors Light and something actually worth buying.
There's so many microbrewed ones here that have a much stronger taste. Some have stronger fruit tastes ( like, some have mint, blueberries, coriander in them...) and some have like... bready taste.
And some tasted kind of like soap.... yeah.
