Beer discussion time

Let us discuss our favorite beers, or new beers we have tried recently and enjoyed/hated.

Right now I'm drinking this beer called Sierra Nevada. I've never had it before. There a variety of flavors, I'm drinking the Pale Ale. It's pretty tasty.

I don't really have a favorite beer, but I drink a lot of Sam Adams. There are tons of flavors of that and I usually just grab something different each time. I always like trying the seasonal stuff.

Recently I tried this beer called Elephant. It was fucking awful. The first one I drank I was like, "Eh, it's not horrible, but I won't buy it again." The second one I drank I was like, "This tastes like mud."

SIERRA NEVADA... TRY IT.

What do you like/hate?

I'm not much of a beer drinker but it's hard to escape seeing the beer brand Kirin in Japan. It seemed to be the only beer my friends would drink but only if they had the money for it, because getting beer by the glass can get pretty expensive in restaurants for some reason. Definitely much cheaper if you go to a karaoke building though.

There are probably 5 well-known beer companies over there, and when I polled a bunch of kids in the college I was at which beer they preferred, it was Kirin. Probably also because all of their ads feature a Japanese cutie wielding a mug or chalice of beer

Guiness is some good stuff, for sure. Have you ever had an Irish Car Bomb? You should try one if you haven't.

I love Guiness but it's definitely not a party beer because it's pretty expensive. Too expensive to be chugging down anyways.

For just party drinking I go for James Ready(a buck a beer) or Budweiser if they have a deal and I have some money to drop.

I don't know why but during college I've developed a fancy for Mexican beer especially Pacifico, Dos Equis, Negra Modelo, etc. Usually if I'm just out and about I typically just order a Shiner Bock.

My fave beer is Budweiser and the only new thing i tried is that new Banana flavored VEX which is pretty good tastes like Banana Popsicles

Excuse me sir, we are trying to discuss good beers, not beer flavored water.

The only time I drink Bud, Coors, Miller, Pabst, Keystone, and every other cheap shitty beer, is when it's in a keg, or I'm playing drinking games. I never go to the liquor store and buy a case of that crap :\

I don't know why, but I don't like beer. Out of all the brands I've tried, like Heineken and Molson Canadian, they all give me this rather unpleasant taste. (If you watch me drink, you'd see my reaction.) I remember once as a child, I was given a taste or two of beer, and I hated it. I don't know if it carried over to adulthood or what.

Anyway, malt beverages like Smirnoff Ice are my kind of drink.

Indeed.

The legal smoking age was sixteen until a few years ago, but they changed it to eightteen. Also they banned smoking in pubs and "enclosed public spaces".

Any other flavors besides the Boston Lager that you really like? I can never pick, I've drank so many that when I think back on it I'm like, "Shoot, I like all of them!"

mate, you are talking my language!! i Love San Miguel and Kronenberg, has anyone hee tried them? one thing i cant stand is Tennants though...if u havent trie it, keep it that way trust me.

Summer Wheat... Winter Lager... They're seriously all pretty good. I tend to say Sam Adams, and whatever they give me I'm happy with.

Winter Lager was awesome, I remember having that last winter. I used to really enjoy the Cream Stout, but I've drank enough to the point now where I prefer something else if I have the chance. Hefeweizen is really good too.

I'm pretty much the same, I don't really complain when it comes to Sam Adams. I haven't drank anything that I didn't like yet. And I always like popping of the caps and reading their little award thingies.
