I say do it for the right reasons. I got laid off from a really good job right about the same time my grandma had a stroke. They ended up putting her in a nursing home, which left my grandfather (a farmer who never cooked a meal in his life or did laundry) home alone. I moved in, since I wasn't working anyway, and took care of the basics. I did this for about 6 months. It wasn't all fun and games, and I did not get paid for it, but they were my grandparents and I loved them, so it was all worth it and of course the rest of the family truly appreciated it.

Why the hell are you questioning it? FUCKING GO! just make sure you do a good job, so you don't suffer from guilt factor.

The pay seems good and the job doesn't sound too taxing, heck if you're lucky you'll get a nice bonus in her will.

I say go for it. She probably needs someone to stay with her to keep some company, especially since her husband is dead.

Wow do it. At least you're not all around people all day and get paid $9 an hour. I hate talking to people for a job.
