ok the thread previously named "origami star" has been remade to avoid confusion
This wasn't made by me, but I thought it would be interesting to share.
My family's been moving a lot, and I lived in Japan when I was like 4-5, so when I had to leave, all the kids in my preschool made me this giant...thing of a thousand cranes, and I couldn't really leave it behind, so I took it with me whenever I had to move.
but I think I'm going to stash it in a bag now because there's not that much room where I'm living right now.

The origami cup is easy to make, and useful too. You could use it to hold coins, candy or yes, even water (though not for very long!)
Useful if you need something simple to keep all your little bits and bobs organised.

I have thousands and thousands and thousands of stupid origami stars. They look like candy. I have to steal my mom's camera and take pics and post em...gotta round em all up though :B
I also have some seifuku and a ghost made from origami somewhere.

I know how to make a star in 3d, but i don't know if that's considered origami. As soon as i get my hands on a camera, i will post it and show u all a technique that even i don't know the name of.
Yeah i need to work on a signature...maybe i'll borrow yours for now.
