I need an opinion

I've heard of Newgrounds for a long time, but I never took the time to explore this site in-depth. Anyway, I'm "new", and this audio section really caught my eye. So here's my little spiel.

I've been listening to nothing but electronic music because it's just awesome. I decided to try my hand at making electronic/trance myself. I have a whole suite of programs such as Finale 2009, Reason 4.0 with TONS of refills, Pro Tools, and FL Studio 8 PE (Yes, these programs are paid for, not stolen). It's been a while since I messed with FL Studio, so I used it as my workhorse for these samples.

About these samples: I made them both in about half an hour, and at the moment they are nothing but samples. Hopefully after some time, they can be a little better.

Firstly, you can't make a new thread to advertise your work or ask for advice.

The works in progress advice thread is a good place to ask questions like this.

Secondly, your submissions are still undergoing the approval process. If you have any questions the awaiting audio approval thread will likely answer them.

Not bad actually, you have some of what I'd call "what sounds decent" talent, in terms of that epic trance feel.

Although the first mix there needs to back off on the compression.

Kinda funny. It does still have the waiting approval page, but Nathan was able to hear it. He's right though. I do need to mix the first one better.

I haven't been able to touch anything in terms of approving audio (as is supposed to be my job on here) due to mounds..and mounds of work.

Listened to the first song by downloading it, as you can still do that without it having approval. A design error?

It's pretty good; the buildup isn't generic nor boring.
However, the panning in the beginning is a little strange with headphones =X

There's nothing you can do if you do indeed get zero bombed.
