Kirie, some other games might be more scary as a whole, but as far as single characters go Kirie probably scares me the most, the times when you have to run from her are the worst.

It's in the haunted mansion level, meaning you'll find it at any point in the game so long as you go to the courtyard in the back.

Ill have to go with the Iron Maiden from RE4 as well. It was the only thing to kill me in RE4 but when i got done playing i was a little creeped out and took a shower. My Bro to be a dick put of a zombie mask and attacked me in the shower. Dont get me wrong, he got a broken nose but to this day the Regenerator and Iron maiden creep me out rofl

Isn't there a star requirement for the bigger boo to appear in the first place though? I kind of remember heading down to the basement and not seeing the boo lead me outside early in the game.

I don't know, I'm going to have to say the Wallmasters for Ocarina of Time since they caused such terror for me when I was little. Gah the sound they make is the worst part.

Fast Zombies from Half Life 2 to episode 2...as a matter of fact, anything in Ravenholm is scary, The name sounds scary the town looks scary, the music sounds freaky when you first enter the town. HELL, there are mutilated bodies in almost every house you go in, its like their biggest export was human flesh and eveyone who wasn't killed worked at the slaughter house! The only upside to Ravenholm is the badass priest, but that still doesn't change the fact that you have a town full of zombies trying to eat you! AND THE POISON HEADCRABS! Oh god the poison headcrabs, they're like the Facehuggers from Alien, no THEY ARE the facehuggers from alien! Only they don't have a tail, and they're a different colour, and they got fewer legs....That is why whenever I replay HL2, I skip Ravenholm.

Sure Dr. Salvador and Nemesis got to you, but it was more in the sense of fear you get just before being hit by a car. The split second panic of 'OhShitOhShitOhShit'.

Silent Hill gives you more of the sense of fear of being in a cabin in a woods, at night, with no communication with the outside world while the freaky bitch from The Ring is outside singing Mary had a little lamb and you've just realised that you're chained to the floor and the TV suddenly turns on and Jigsaw's puppet Billy starts to tell you that he wants to play a game.
