I kind of felt bad for the way Skorge died.
I was expecting him to go down in a man-to-man fight against Marcus and actually finish it. Instead, his Leviathan explodes, he doesn't jump ship when that happens, and then he just keels over after falling off.

The only enemies I've ever had any sympathy for it would be either the rotten vegetables from the SNES game "Out to Lunch" or it would be the Tiny Mandragoras from Final Fantasy XI. I mean the mandragoras are just minding their own business when some hapless "adventurer" comes along and decides to stab the defenseless little thing right in the eye.

Me too. Especially since when you killed some of them, they said certain things. I remember one grunt cried when I killed one of them, and said "But he was my friend!". I was pretty sad after I was done laughing about it.

I dunno, I kinda feel a tad bad for most of the enemies I kill in Conker and Banjo games anyway, they make them sound so helpless (Like we're the villain!) dammit don't give objects giant eyeballs, it makes them harder to kill! =(

But also I do feel kinda guilty for the polife in Jet Set Radio as well, and DEMYX from kingdom hearts 2, man he was just a teenager, and a sweet one at that, which is rare these days =(
And yeah i kinda felt sorry for Shogo from Saints row 2 as well, and I'm not sure if this counts or not but KADAJ from Final Fantasy... Man I give that dude a happy meal and some ice cream so bad!

Halo's Grunts. They were (and are) so helpless. Especially that one in Halo 2 that became a kiss ass to the Arbiter.

Kessler from InFamous, The Boss from MGS3, Ocelot from MGS4, the White Prince from Oblivion (If you did his quest anyways).

The only ones that comes to mind is the dogs from S.T.A.L.K.E.R SoC. They whimper when you shoot them and run away with their tail between their legs.
