I have a problem. Whenever using some of my audio programs, like CoolRecordEditPro, Hi-Q Recorder or SC Audio Converter, it keeps coming up with all sorts of error messages, for example, I'm opening CoolRecordEditPro and it comes up saying 'NCTAudioPlayer is not registered' and then it says that error message that CoolRecordEditPro has encountered a problem and needs to close, etc, and after it comes up with an error message that goes after half a second or so. Did anyone else ever encounter this problem or knows how to fix it? Thanks.

If you get a message along the lines 'not registered', then you need to pay for the software.
If you get any other message, uninstall and reinstall the software.

Yeah, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling CoolRecordEditPro, but it keeps saying 'NCT Audio Player not registered' which is strange because I didn't download NCT Audio Player :S.

Are you on vista? NTC Audio Player is not vista compatible. Use a different wave editor.

No I'm on XP. It's really strange. CoolRecordEditPro was registered and I never had any problems, and it's only recently that it came up saying I need to register NCT Audio Player (which I never even had on my computer :S). Well, I could always use Audacity..., but I still can't use Hi-Q Recorder or SC Audio Converter... Ahh well, thanks anyway for the help :).

Not registered can also mean that the program is not loading a certain file and cannot continue unless that file is present and accessible. Try downloading the NCT and if you have it, locate the file and try to get the program to load it up.

Yeah, I thought it was that too..., but if I try downloading it, it'll probably be a trial or demo which means it's still not registered (or it might need purchasing straight away), and I can't risk buying it if it might not be the problem :S... I don't recall deleting any files and the strange thing is even some of my other audio programs aren't working, and their error messages don't have to do with NCT Audio player. I can tell you the one which comes up on Hi-Q Recorder:
Run-time Error '-2147024770 (8007007e)':
Automation error
The specified module could not be found.
And if I use SC Audio Converter the same error message comes up and it switches to FREE Audio Converter and I won't be able to even import any files to convert :S.
These all died out at almost the same time. First I tried recording with Hi-Q Recorder, but whenever I pressed the record button, it came up with an error message and I closed it, then I tried opening CoolRecordEditPro, and it came up with that error message, and then SC Audio Converter, which worked the first time, but then it came up with the error message.
The only thing which I was doing which was particularly unusual is record windows start-up sounds from youtube with Hi-Q Recorder, editing them with CoolRecordEditPro and if they need converting, I convert them to the required file type with SC Audio Converter, since I never used all three programs that much.
Wierd...

Great, now none of the audio on NG is working for me. Is this happening to everyone or is my computer developing a new way of making me frustrated?

Now it isn't only the audio programs, it's NG as well. Slowly, my computer's eating up NG if you know what I mean. I don't hear audio unless it's in the front page on the top 5 previews, I don't hear sounds in flash, I don't see the icons of where to vote, and in all everything's messed up. My Internet's going slower than usual (and trust me - that's slow) and no luck with the audio programs. It's even very hard to write this post, since all of the icons and pictures have disappeared :(. Here's an example of what I see when I open an audio page on NG...
P.S.: This is getting off-topic. A mod will lock it any second now :'(.

Ctrl + Alt + Del and check too see if you have 2 "explorer.exe" or "Lsass.exe" processes running.
If you have 2 "explorer.exe" then kill them both off using the processes tab in the taskmanager. After that go to your programs tab and press "new activity" (or whatever it says) and type "explorer" (might have to add .exe after that). It should start up and function like normal.
Warning: Killing off "explorer.exe" will shut down your taskbar and desktop, but don't shit yourself, it's supposed to do that.
I'd suggest you download this if your internet seems to be slower than usual. I didn't read everything but is your computers performance affected too?. If so do a full system scan with malwarebytes, ad aware, an antivirus program and any spyware program.
The reason I say that is because recently I got hit with a trojan that did exactly what you described but eventually killed off my browsers completely. Lucky for me, following that procedure fixed all my problems.

A trojan can name itself explorer.exe in the process list but the process list shows 2 explorer.exe's.

Yeah as a matter of fact recently I did scan and found Trojan Horse Agent NWG naming itself explorer.exe when running AVG. I deleted it, but I'm still stuck. I'll try the task manager method.
Thanks a LOT for your help XD.

There was one explorer.exe since the other one was deleted via AVG. I tried deleting it and the taskbar, icons and all that disappeared as you said. I made a new task and called it explorer.exe and it didn't change much. I am noticing some icons reappearing, for example a few thread mood icons are back and I can now see the icons where it says 'Post it' and stuff, but the background is still messed up and some icons are stil missing. I noticed two iexplorer.exe files on the task manager too. Am I supposed to delete those or should I leave them there?
Thanks again :)

I tried taking away one of them and the other disappeared along with the Internet Explorer webpage I had on, so I don't think they're the problem.
This thing only seems to be happening on Newgrounds. The only other thing which is strange is when I open Internet Explorer, it tries to connect but takes ages to connect and the webpage doesn't come up.
By the way, now all the icons disappeared again :S. This is what I'm seeing right now:

I tried downloading Malwarebytes, but when I clicked on the sign to download the free version (and clicked again after, and double-clicked, and saved target as) no matter what method I used, it didn't do anything. It was taking too long every time and it seemed to be doing nothing. I've noticed this on a few other websites too, where I click on a link and it sas 'Connecting' but does nothing.
I did delete the trojan with AVG, but the damage it left is still there. Any help on recovering?

Tried that a few days ago. No luck... :(. That's only used when the computer's performance is down (not shutting down correctly, freezing, etc...), and I didn't have many problems with that. It must be something to do with my files. I was thinking maybe the trojan got a hold of javascript or flash player and deleted a few important files here and there, so I might reinstall them...
Whatever, thanks anyway :).

Finally. Got it to work. The Internet is back at normal speed, and Newgounds isn't messed up anymore. After scanning with AVG twice a day, reinstalling Windows, and deleting all my Temporary Internet Files, it's working again =\. My audio programs still don't work though :(.

we is in the same boat. right now, my magix music maker 14 and 15 (especially 15) is fukkin up. all them error messages and freezin and shit. But its common for me, all i do is restart the CPU, wait a while (even if its a few days) and start again. By the way i'm seeing your situation, the problem is coming from your soundcard and audio hardwares. Doubt it if you want but i know what im talkin bout.
Check out my new track Tokyo Pop and my hit: Our Nova Pt. 2.

Yeah, it could be, but then all of my audio related programs wouldn't work, and other programs like FL Studio and Audacity work with me.
Oh, and by the way, that problem with Newgrounds messed up came again. If I don't delete all my temporary internet files in around an hour, Newgrounds icons start disappearing, the background starts going away and it takes longer to open up a new page. I did try and set my privacy level to max so that it doesn't send in any cookies and I won't need to delete any temporary internet files, but then I can't log in on Newgrounds. If I set it to high and make Newgrounds a trusted site so it won't block any cookies from Newgrounds only, the problem is still there, and after some time, I still have to delete my temporary internet files. Anyone know how to fix this?
