unfinished work, looking for advice

Below is a piece of work I'm working on but have to put on hold for a few days because my brother broke my tablet. So in the mean time I thought i could make the best of my time and ask the community what they think of it so far and anything I could improve on. I just started seriously getting into art as you can tell by my semi par pictures i already uploaded, but I'm still proud of them. A little back ground on this image; the character is called Lanzador del gato, Mexican super hero. He isn't very super in a physical sense, but he has a strange ability to attract cats and launch them from his cannon with great accuracy. His goal in life was to help Mexicans cross the over to the United states but ever since 2012 when operation freedom leap, a giant bridge spanning from Mexico, over America into Canada to solve immigration problems (frisky dingo any one?) was completed, he has made it his duty to destroy it.

well for the background hmm sun sets are always nice. Good story line btw maybe you should make it into a flash or better yet a game :].

haha thanks! I'm currently working on a series called America City and i always wanted to make him a spin off character, but i think making him into a game like you suggested would be awesome. it can keep him in the America city universe, but can expand into different genre. Thanks again for the feed back <3
