So... what are the chances this kid will get hit by lightning if he goes to check out a tree that was just wrecked?
When do we finish unpacking?

A couple of years ago, a tree right outside of my house got struck by lightning. Too bad I was asleep when it happened. They had to cut it down too, and practically every tree outside of our house.

I'd say about 80% less then his normal chance of being struck by lighting, due to the fact that now that the tress wrecked, theres nothing to attract the lightning. But lighting DOES contract in almost un-predictable odds so don't lose faith!

I thought this was going to be a topic about the joys of stage lighting. Needless to say, I am thoroughly disapointed.

I'd rather you didn't get hit by lightning. Personally I enjoy watching a lightning storm from a safe location, alway inside a building... I'm not going to tempt fate by going out in an electrical storm.

Don't you mean lightning? I've never heard of people being struck by lighting.
