Technically a "spam " flash isn't melicouse, stolen, or unsuitable, but I still assume that no one wants it. The whistle should still be blown on it right?

I don't think so. Just blam it. It's not causing any real harm, so just give it a 0 and so will everyone else, and it won't even make it past the portal.

No. You would vote zero and hope everyone else does the same. The point of the whistle is to get rid of flashes that harm other people, which spam doesn't do (besides being an annoyance).

Voting is there to get rid of stuff people don't want on the site, and to keep what we do want on the site.

But what defines a flash as "spam" differs from person to person.

Personally I find many spam flashes to be funnier than actual "I spent 7+ weeks on this" flashes.

I think it's more of a eye of the beholder thing. I see soooo much crew spam. And learned my lesson not to review it.

It's hard to not objectively define spam as "sucking" or "useless shit" but I guess you can't say that in a review.

Personally I think there should be a whistle for spam. Even if it doesn't really "harm people", it is counter productive and annoying.

The voting usually keeps 'em out, but I've seen a few get through.

That's because people think you can blam a flash by giving a 0/10 review that says "BLAM THIS PIECE OF SHIT!".

I just hate all the spam crews. I've lurked here for a while, but i just signed up today, and there was submissions from a catapult coalition or something like that? The new thing? Shit is annoying.

Either way, it doesen't make a difference, spam isn't hard to pass, giving it a low vote just contributes to a low score, which a lot of spammers are hoping for, anyway, so you're practically doing them a favor.

just roll with it nerd

Absolutely not. 1st of all, they have an entire genre that you can assign just for Spam, and second of all, some people do like it. Vote 0 if you don't like it. Or just shut the fuck up.

Well I blow the whistle if i know its from a user that file-swaps to malicious content. That's just me though. On regular spam/shit flash I just vote 0.

A few?!
The [BB] puts up stolen Submissions just to pass Judgement then change the file completely about 5 times a days; I've seen about 15 on the Portal.

These need to be stopped. -.-"

I never thought the reviews help blam the flashes if that's what you're inferring. But you're right, some retards are actually voting up the spam I think.

If it weren't for the blam points I'd think it'd be best to just not even look at it. Because that's what they want initially, attention.
