Besides, any job where it's going to be a problem will require long sleeve shirts anyway. I work in bloody public relations and I have seven ear piercings and I'm getting a tattoo on friday (in the exact same spot as topic starter as well). You just take out the jewellery and wear a long shirt for work. No biggie.

To say that it is not a wise decision to get a tattoo of a video game character on your arm.

Look it's his life, I'm not saying things are going to go wrong because of the tattoo, I'm just saying as risky as it is to get a tattoo (even though they're generally clean and usually safe) it's awfully silly to waste such money on something like that, which one day you're going to grow tired of explaining to everybody.

Sorry, but this means a lot more to me than "lol cool video game!". Dan Paladin was one of my bigger influences as a kid when I wanted to animate. I loved his style. I tried to emulate it with some of my work, but I never figured out how he did it so well.

The game itself was also a huge accomplishment for Tom and Dan. Their own originality in creating an independent game was a groundbreaking thing in my eyes, and I really appreciate that dedication.

On top of all that, Newgrounds basically raised me. Yeah, it's fucking lame, but spending the majority of my time here posting, and animating, and learning, it really did. It shaped who I am as an individual and inspired a lot of what I do. I use Newgrounds as an outlet for my creativity, and so this symbol reminds me of all these things. It's really something I wanted to have for 2 years now.

Whether I grow out of Newgrounds or not, I'll have this meaningful piece of my past with me for the rest of my life.

Bar none, the worst fucking tattoo placement, idea, and execution I've ever seen. You are going to pay out the ass in about a decade to get that shit scrubbed off your skin hardcore until all that's left is a bright red patch of skin and a renewed ability to find employment.

It's a neat little design, it's just not an image that I'd choose to have carved into my body for the rest of my life :)

Don't do that. Not because I'm going to be a hypocrite and say you'll regret it or anything, but I seriously don't trust any tattoo place that allows underage people to get tattoos with simple adult consent. I would never get a tattoo done at a place that lets 16 year-olds get tattooed.

Oh boy. This is just too good. A guy at a coffee shop suggested I do a full sleeve / body art (coverup as well) that would basically blow the image up about 45000 times to have some sort of surreal Alien Hominid covering half my body.

Think of it, an eye the size of your fist on the upper arm, and some thick black outlines in weird places with everything colored yellow. Maybe have one antenna across the chest and an other going down the thigh.
