140$ looks a bit to small for that price.

Cost me $140. It's on my left inner-forearm. It's still healing. Didn't hurt too much (I squinted every couple of seconds, but easily bearable). So fucking stoked to have this little guy with me for the rest of my life.

<3 Newgrounds!

I have to agree with most of the comments. $140 sounds really pricey for something that size.

Granted, I spent about $200 on each shoulder, but they cover my shoulders almost entirely. Plus, my designs were really intricate. AH is rather simple.

It's not badly done, but I will say that you'll probably kick yourself for getting it later.

Another thing I agree with is that you did pick a shitty place to get it. Forearms are not exactly the easiest place to cover without wearing a long-sleeve shirt, and, unfortunately, the stigma is alive and well in the business world.

As long as you're happy, that's all that matters, although HAYF did make some decent points.

But HAYF didn't raise anything that I hadn't already thought about. I'm not prepared to counter all or any of your points or his, but all I can say is that I've thought it through.

On an other note, the general intake of the tattoo from friends and coworkers has been highly positive. Also, I'm getting VERY minimal scabbing right now, only a slight bit on one of the eyes. It's also not cracking or peeling, and it's healing very well.

Lastly, I'd like to say that because of how well this turned out, I hope to actually work with my artist and create an AH themed sleeve. I like the idea of having the giant soviet boss on my shoulder, along with FBI guys, KGB, Military, a fat kid, buildings, etc. in an intricate sleeve. I'll let this one set in for a while, but I'll keep thinking about the sleeve.

Thanks for all the love guys! <3

Haha. Wow, you just made yourself look like an ignorant dumbfuck, which I don't doubt you are. (at least HAYF made actual statements, and actually made sense.) The fact that they are permanent is the fact to keep you memory, and they do just that. My grandpa has a tattoo of his brothers name on his arm, and he remembers him. When this guy is old an wrinkly 'and 90 years old' he will remember his youth, and how he went to this site. And its a good tattoo.

OP, that looks cool, but I dont remember when this is posted, but if its done scabbing up, post some new pics man, I wanna see them, as does everyone else.

Poozy RAGE. Also, This.

Wow, that means a lot coming from you. Thanks so much! I'll PM you in the near future about getting some base images of some of the AH video game elements so I can work with my artist on a sleeve design. I'd love to dedicate my left arm to your artwork. =D

It's pretty much done scabbing up, but nonetheless my camera isn't great. Perhaps I'll take a picture in the next couple of days with a friend's camera or something.

If I ever get a tattoo, it's going to be on my back and it's going to be the two hands drawing one another from M.C. Escher. I love his work, and I've wanted the same tattoo since I found out about his work about... 8 years ago.

I hope when I get that tattoo and go to my future employer, they ask me to strip down to my underwear to check for any tattoos that might make their company look bad...

Also, my old high school principal had tattoos on his back and shoulders.

If I give you $140 would you get a tattoo of this.

I was thinking about getting "Tom Fulp" tattoed to just above my crotch. But in the end I just carved it in with a knife, cheaper and more romantic

Nice tattoo. I'm still too poor to afford one myself. I can't get a job and I don't even have tattoos.

Who's to say that a highly tattooable and lovable Alien is taking this love "too far"?

And yeah, I'll have to hold out on more pics, because it started peeling last night.
