Nice, looks good. Maybe some sort of background? Like stars and planets running behind him or something?

I have a couple of tattoos, but they all really MEAN something to me... and I tend to think for quite a while before I get a new one.

But hey, if you like it, I guess that's all that matters.

Actually I did have a little more thought go into this. Believe it or not, I wanted a little more than a showpiece for Fans and Newgrounds users. I did think it through, and I know that it's something I really wanted for what it does mean to me.

If anyone was a true NG fan they would make an entire sleeve.

I actually thought about it. I think I'd have the large soviet boss on my upper arm to sort of cap it off at the top, and have the sleeve run down to just past Alien Hominids feet. I'm not sure exactly what I would get done, but I can imagine FBI Guys, a fat kid, soviets, military, a powerup or two, and some buildings.

Awesome. You sir, surpassed Tom on my list of NG role models, and you almost surpassed Jade. When I'm old enough to bear the pain of getting a tattoo, I'm probably gonna get...eh, what the hell, I'd get Pico or Tankmen. Maybe even Dad 'n Me...

You say it like being decrepit without tattoos is so much more attractive than being decrepit with tattoos.

Either way, you're still old and gross-looking.

Fair groovy.

And where I live a tatoo like that would not stereotype you at all. It just makes you seem nerdy. But most people dont have any problems with that. The only jobs I can imagine that having an impact on is being a Biker or a personal double.

The bias against tatoos is cultural. For example tatoos are evident in Maori culture and so its common to have tatoos. I can only imagine something like that impacting if you lived in some redneck state in America or something.
Maybe if it were a skull and crossbones that said "death to all capitalist pigs" it might worry your prospective employers.
And really, $140 isnt much money. Be it for tatoos or anything else.

I have to agree with most of the comments. $140 sounds really pricey for something that size.

Granted, I spent about $200 on each shoulder, but they cover my shoulders almost entirely. Plus, my designs were really intricate. AH is rather simple.

It's not badly done, but I will say that you'll probably kick yourself for getting it later.

Another thing I agree with is that you did pick a shitty place to get it. Forearms are not exactly the easiest place to cover without wearing a long-sleeve shirt, and, unfortunately, the stigma is alive and well in the business world.

As long as you're happy, that's all that matters, although HAYF did make some decent points.

But HAYF didn't raise anything that I hadn't already thought about. I'm not prepared to counter all or any of your points or his, but all I can say is that I've thought it through.

On an other note, the general intake of the tattoo from friends and coworkers has been highly positive. Also, I'm getting VERY minimal scabbing right now, only a slight bit on one of the eyes. It's also not cracking or peeling, and it's healing very well.

Lastly, I'd like to say that because of how well this turned out, I hope to actually work with my artist and create an AH themed sleeve. I like the idea of having the giant soviet boss on my shoulder, along with FBI guys, KGB, Military, a fat kid, buildings, etc. in an intricate sleeve. I'll let this one set in for a while, but I'll keep thinking about the sleeve.

Thanks for all the love guys! <3

Haha. Wow, you just made yourself look like an ignorant dumbfuck, which I don't doubt you are. (at least HAYF made actual statements, and actually made sense.) The fact that they are permanent is the fact to keep you memory, and they do just that. My grandpa has a tattoo of his brothers name on his arm, and he remembers him. When this guy is old an wrinkly 'and 90 years old' he will remember his youth, and how he went to this site. And its a good tattoo.

OP, that looks cool, but I dont remember when this is posted, but if its done scabbing up, post some new pics man, I wanna see them, as does everyone else.

Wow, that means a lot coming from you. Thanks so much! I'll PM you in the near future about getting some base images of some of the AH video game elements so I can work with my artist on a sleeve design. I'd love to dedicate my left arm to your artwork. =D

It's pretty much done scabbing up, but nonetheless my camera isn't great. Perhaps I'll take a picture in the next couple of days with a friend's camera or something.
