How many people can say

How many people can honestly say that they go into a topic just to disprove the author's views. So many times do I see this. Even when it has nothing to do with them, for example a topic bashing women, and getting someone flaming the author about it, despite the person not actually being a woman.

Can you honestly say you have done that or something like it?

If I am against them, or support them, I look up the information, and if depending on whetherthey're right, I take the appropriate action to point it out. If they're wrong, I simply state it, and show them my proof. So really, it all matters on what the facts say.

Well your example was terrible as usually when someone makes a topic bashing women or linking somewhere bashing women they tend to agree with the bashing, hence their making the topic.

If someone makes a topic that will educe bashing of course they'll receive some of the bashing for making the topic. It's normal.
