I just don't understand why Obama had to protect a Harvard Professor because he was black? Or it's just because that he is his friend? But, Obama had no right to stop talking about the health care problem because it was way more important that his friend got arrested because he was "Black"
Put up what you think about this

So Obama is to leave every thought, idea, and action beside as he is considering health care reform? This point is flawed.
Also, indeed, he probably shouldn't have gotten involved. People sometimes say their opinions out loud, though, and the omnipotent media loves a scandal; recording every fleeting thought expressed in words from the mouth of the president is a perfect way to possibly land one.
However, he's going to have a beer with the professor and the Sgt. who arrested him, so it should fizzle out after that.

Agreed. Also, if you're asked a question about something, what are you supposed to do? Especially if you're president? A "no comment" would get him just as much flack. But from what I've read of the situation I agree with the President's remarks and applaud him for having the courage to say it knowing it would not be terribly popular and get him criticism from the usual sources.
