Does anyone remember that band Garbage? I came across this song tonight for the first time in years, couldn't help but listen to the fine sounds of Garbage again. It got me longing for the music of the 90's to come back. I want things like Nirvana, The Cranberries, Garbage, and so many more, but you never hear a sound like any of them in this decade.
I see now why I'm going to be 40 and listening to music that topped the charts in 1998, hating whatever shit noise is dribbling out of my bastard child's stereo...
The 90s were a golden age for music. I was loving that second wave of grunge that was popping off last summer, too bad it fizzled out.
Its quite creepy that you bring this up...I was just on PLaylist.com wondering why I had a song by Garbage in my list.

Hmm, must have missed that. What bands?
Sorry for double-post, but I figured out why it was there! I was looking for all the music on "ATV offroad Fury 3"
I have the album Garbage on my iPod.
wait, what's this about again?
Garbage was a sweet band back in the day. I found myself strangely attracted to Shirley Manson when I was about nine. There was something about her that was strangely enticing.
But anyways, I've been living up some of the mid-90s music, too. Anyone remember the band Sponge?
Here's their song Plowed.

What are you kidding me. 90s alternative was all over the radio again. A bunch of bands got back togethor like Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains and others. They're all still togethor and trying to capitalize but the wave totaly broke.

It sounds familiar, but that might be because it sounds a lot like a mix between Rise Against and Rancid.

No and I can see why. Sponge lead singer has a horrible voice.
Here's their song Plowed.
Sorry Gooch my boy but I think it sucked, I am going to listen to Edguy now.

Well, Vinnie does sing "Plowed" in an unusual sort of scratchy voice. He really doesn't sound anything like that in their song "Molly (Sixteen Candles)". His voice sounds completely different in that song.

And weren't the two best years for music in general at that time 1995 and 1996?
That's when the Grammy's were still a big thing, too.
:Dammit OP, you made me feel nostalgia.

theyre ok, but ill tell ya what, back in the early 90's shirley manson was the hottest woman ever
Seems like a poor man's No Doubt to me...
The only Garbage I knew was Cherry Lips. Mainly because it was on a demo for the ps2 game Amplitude.
My mother has the OST of Romeo + Juliet, and it's full of great songs.
The song is a remix, I prefer it to the original because I like the rhythm of the drum beat.
My signature was old so I changed it.

I jam out to their song "Wax Excstatic" at least once a week.
My favorite is "I'm only happy when it rains." Was introduced years ago with the song 'the trick is to keep breathing'. I do like that band though. Funny, I had a hunch you were taking about the band going into this topic.
One of the best bands of the 90´s, in fact, Version 2.0. was the 2nd album I bought. I was 13, I miss the 90´s.
The 90's were great, but personally, I prefer the LSD era.
What a shame, Mister Jensen.
I never asked for this, Mister Denton.

Listening to Nirvana and the earlier Marilyn Manson demos made me really want to be hopped up on cocaine for some reason.
This too will pass.

Blink 182?
Wow, I had forgotten all about them. I was never into that stuff anyway.
