I love water too. I only drink coke or the like on special occasions (such as birthdays, etc) or if someone else buys it (I wouldn't spend my money on it). I drink lots of water every day, and there is always one glass of water on my desk.

In my opinion, it's much better than any drink, and it's even healthier.

All I drink is water, I haven't had a sip of soda, coffee, or any energy drink in two and a half years. And when I go out to eat I get unsweetened iced tea with lemon.

Don't forget the fact that you're spending a ton of money buying bottles of water when you could just buy a pitcher that you fill with tap water and put in your fridge. It's fridge-cold water without the expense and plastic waste.

Think about all the ridiculous amounts of energy that go into making a plastic bottle and paper label, gathering water, filtering it and putting into the bottle, then shipping it to you. It's a huge amount of waste, even if you are recycling the bottles. Think of the piles of bottle waste you're producing- 100% would disappear if you just filtered it yourself.

There's people who have little or no access to clean water, and here we are bottling it and shipping it across continent and sea while we can just turn on our tap and get it dirt cheap.

I refill and keep water bottles but recycle them after 10-20 uses

I see the same wonderful liquid I can get out of my Brita-filtered tap, only bottled in plastic that will inevitably end up NOT being recycled and wash up who knows where on what lake/sea shore. I have a large 2-liter thermos. I just go to the tap and fill it up then drink out of it. No plastic garbage, no nothing. That makes shit 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000 0000000001% cleaner than if I would use bottles. Plus I don't want to walk back and forth to the recycling bin all day long.

I fucking agree man. I got about six bottles in my trash right now from the past 2 days. Summer time, sweating that shit straight out. Taking a uber satisfying piss. Water owns.

Everybody, listen to this man for he is correct. Bottled water is a waste, and when you're in a city like mine that has it's own underground aquifer, the quality difference between bottled and tap is negligible.
