Yeah I was going for a neo-feminist sort of vibe, with emphasis on the words castrate and emasculate. On a more serious note don't be so quick to judge. A lot of these girls have emotional problems and it's easy for them to become attatched.

I can't read minds but my guess is they feel as though if they don't do everything they can to satisfy their guys they'll be abandoned and no one will take his place. They think there's no other option and no one else is interested, even when that's not true. It's sorta sad, you can't put all the blame on the girl, blame the person who made them so sensitive.

I have a girlfriend. She's actually attractive and she's not a cow. If the guy settles for cattle then so be it. I'm not complaining, just curious as to how anything romantic can happen between a human being and livestock. Though, there are a lot of weird farmers around here so I guess I shouldn't doubt.
