There are so many new features! I think it said over 200? I think I'd be most excited for Flex Time, it's going to make everything much more convenient. And Does anyone know any info on the new Jampack: Voices?
Is it like new choirs and stuff?
I want logic pro without paying for the loops.

See http://www.apple.com/logicstudio/whats-n ew/ for everything. Looks to me like the update is mostly audio (not midi/synth) related. Some tools for editing phrasing and speed as well as quantizing audio (called Flex Time), more IRs for Space Designer, a voice sample pack thing, a suite of guitar rig emulation plug-ins and a MainStage update

Yo loansindi, you should get logic. Check out the Amp Designer on this page
Amp Designer is pretty sexy. Sort of their own version of IK Multimedia's Amplitube.
What I want to know is what has changed that hasn't been listed. Such as coding, 64bit support, memory managment, etc.

Not unless he already has an Intel Mac.

which I do not.
So how good is Logic for composing electronic music?
That really depends on your style, what features do you most enjoy/want in your DAW?
Logic has a good selection of synths and also a drum machine, no doubt out it, along with some of the best engineering plugins for mixing and mastering in a package.
There probably are a few things in Logic that are still missing though. Luckily, they added audio quantization...finally..

Unfortunately, you either pay for everything or nothing at all ;)

It's good but you'll DEFINITELY want to get some drum samples... Ultrabeat samples really suck imo. The synths are pretty good but I prefer 3rd party synths. Still, they get the job done. The effects are great though, you probably won't really need any 3rd party effects unless you want something fancy.
