So it might have to be submitted tomorrow (for definite).

Is it a problem with a certain file? Or perhaps someone's symbols were made weird?

And any clue on who will be co-authored?

I has a DeviantART!

it appears completely normal on the stage, but when exported, it goes weird. There's probably a relatively easy fix for it though, i'll just have to mess around a bit. By the way, it's not to do with library conflict or anything.

And any clue on who will be co-authored?

not until i've sorted out all the parts.

I've gotta go to a party now, so at the small chance of me being a Co-Author I sent you a portal buddy request. Hope it's released when I come back :)

I feel like this is my fault, because my flash was doing something like that. When it was tested in Flash CS3, it worked fine, but when I played it with Flash Player after exporting, a bunch of my symbols just disappeared.

I actually found out that it was a problem with my flash player. I had someone else test it, and I used the swf on a different computer, and they both worked fine. The funny thing is, if I opened that flash up on Mozilla on MY computer, it actually works just the way it's supposed to, no problems or anything. Apparently Macromedia Flash Player 7 has a problem with something in my flash, but Mozilla doesn't.

that's why I hate using symbols. But I think a synbol might just have the same name as another one

Yeah, the problem occurs on your part, De-Line's part and the preloader. But if you say it works fine on the internet, then there shouldn't be any problems.

I dunno what's going on, but if it's problematic, go ahead and cut mine from the final take. I got what I wanted from this collab already.

That flashing is most likely anjd exporting error. You see, sometimes people might export a flash as Flash Player 8 while someone else has it set to Flash Player 7. I think everyone should go top their FLA, go to Publish Settings under FILE, and change it to Flash Player 8 and then send nick the files again. This Should take care of the problem.

That would explain why Flash Player 7 wasn't able to play my .swf correctly. Resent per instruction, crossing my fingers.
