Exporting flash to avi problem ?? 2009-07-22 13:48:03 Reply

Does anyone have an idea what this could be please?

I've been doing some flash last night & then again today, which I'm going to export as a movie.

It was ok last night on my flash when I exported it & tested it, however I've opened the flash again now to do some more, exported it & tested it again as an avi and it's saying about codec problem & can't play.

I've not changed any settings on my flash at all, just exported to movie as normal.

Anyone know a fix for this please or what the problem could be?

Sometimes the programs on your computer effect .avi playback, I had the same problems when trying to watch .avi files in WMP. Check that all the background programs that you normally run are running, and new ones aren't.

Download K-Lite Mega Codec Pack, it contains a lot of codecs.

I hope it helps.

Thank you kindly, was very strange, as when i finished the flash & cleaned it up (IE Removed the trailing frames etc..) it worked.

So I'm really clueless in regards to what the solution was, I know that after cleaning it up it was a lot smaller in file size (Obv), but I'm still a bit confused in regards to why it did what it did still, very strange.

Gonna get that codec pack anyway so thank you kindly !!!
