Someone thought I was Tom Fulp

And all I was doing was wearing a Newgrounds t-shirt. I was at the largest Super Smash Bros. Melee tournament ever (GENESIS in California 2 weeks ago), and this guy comes up from some other country who says he started the Double Dragon flash collections, and was all stoked because he assumed I was Tom Fulp wearing a Newgrounds t-shirt. I shouldn't have disappointed him, but I really don't look much like Tom, but I did give him props for his flashes. It's always fun when people recognize the shirt though.

Anyone else use a NG shirt as a conversation starter, and with what results?

The only people who have noticed and talked to me about my Newgrounds shirt are the people at my local Gamestop, and this one girl working at a Jimmy Johns. It's some interesting stuff when I ask them what they like to watch/play here. I've heard examples from Marc M to Egoraptor to Luis' work.

I would get a newgrounds shirt, but I hate how it has to say the website on the back of the shirt. Because some little kid can read the back go on the website and be dumb enough to click the flashes with the adult's only thing, and they would be scarred for life. Were if it just was a symbol like ANGREY FAIC people who go to this site would recognize it.

I saw someone wearing a Dr featus t-shirt on the bus and with a huge smile on my face i stuck my middle finger up at him like DR featus then realised what i had just done, with a huge smile on my face swore at a random person on the bus. I then pointed at his cheast and said Newgrounds, it's awesome. And stuck my thumbs up at him. He seemed pleased with the outcome.

I've got plenty of comments on my cyanide & happiness tshirt before, but none from my NG ones apart from at my local nerd gathering, the Computer & Video Game Society at my uni. I guess it's perhaps I don't wear the tank one too much, and the angry face one is just angry, so if you don't make the connection instantly it just looks like a badass tshirt.
