I know that certain people has to have a batting average of 3.5 or so in order to organize a collab.
What about joining a collaboration? I don't plan to join a collaboration though, since I'm not an animator. I'm just interested.

That depends on who's runner the collab. People like me will let anyone join but if their but suck they throw them out. Other people only let people with a certain BA join.

Just to clarify - anyone can join any collab as far as the forum rules are concerned, but a collab organizer is welcome to set their own standards for who can join, within reason.
