So in my games I'm getting this weird weird bug. When I go to the next frame some of my moviesclips are dissapearing.

Now I've changed all there depths so they're different and I've removed all MC's before going to the next frame.

Now heres the weird bit, if I go onto the MC, and put ANYTHING, like "trace(this)" then if I test my movie, it doesnt dissapear anymore, its as if flash literally LOST the MC till i pointed towards it.

Anyone have any clue on how to fix this besides manually making my MC do something everytime.

be sure that the layer( where the movieclip is) isn't a guide layer.

Perhaps you've accidentally turned on some sort of "optimize size" setting. I suppose theoretically it could be removing any files that it sees as unnecessary, and they only become necessary once you've coded them in the way you explained.

But Hell, I've got no idea.

Hmph.
