Biggest time you've let people down

What's the biggest time you've let people down when everyone was depending on you? Does anyone have a crazy story?

Yesterday was my first playoff game for my baseball team, and we were down by one run. We had a man on 2nd and 3rd with two outs, and I was up. Usually I can deliver in these situations so I was almost expected to get a single and drive in two runs. I struck out. We ended up losing by one run. We are no longer in the playoffs.

Letting people down is a hobby of mine. I would have to say when I didn't show up at my grandmother's funeral was the worst though. She left me quite a bit in her will as well so it was extra douchey.

I don't tend to let people down. I guess people know better than to rely on me for anything.

Same here, but there are times when people put a ridiculous amount of pressure on me and I just think, "I could REALLY fuck this up". When that thought crosses my mind I usually mess up.

I don't think I've properly let somebody down. My Mum was a bit annoyed though when I forgot to get her anything for mother's day. That's probably the biggest time I've let someone down.
