I've completed Ocarina of Time 19 times. I shit you not. I find it enjoyable every time, and just writing about it makes me want to play it. Unfortunately, I don't have anything to play it on. I got it when I was 6 for the Nintendo 64, and completed it about 4 or 5 times, because at that age, you can do things over and over again and stay interested.

Then over the next few years, I'd play it every now and again, mounting up to 11 or 12 plays. Then when I got a gamecube for my 13th birthday with Wind Waker, I got Ocarina of Time with it, original and master quest version. So, I completed them a few times and then got rid of the gamecube.

Then getting a Wii, I decided to get a gamecube controller and bought Wind Waker again, completing OoT a few more times. So, around November last year, I completed it for the 19th time and then the Wii had to go. I'd like to complete it for the 20th time but I don't have anything to play it on.

What's yours and why have you completed it so many times?

I've played Mercenaries atleast 6 times, and Rise To Honor at least 10 times. I don't know why.

There's someone here that played MGS1 800 times all the way through.

My PSN ID is xscoot. Crazy, huh?

If I can count all the Pokemon games together, then I've played through Pokemon a few hundred times.

But if not then I'd say Pokemon Blue, I beat it at the least 50 times.

360 - Malachi117. Fucking add me.
PS3 - Malafius
Wii - Would have to check

Must have gone through Metal Gear Solid at least 20 times, and I'd expect much more. I always end up playing it for a week or two every few months, and in that time I'll go through 4 or 5 times.

I played Contra III many times through. That's mostly because I wrote a walkthrough for it though. Other than that, I usually just play games through once.

I've played Ocarina of Time at least 15 times because it's my favorite game ever.
On current gen consoles I beat the campaign on F.E.A.R. 8 times because I think it's a fucking awesome game and I needed to play it through a bunch of times to unlock all the achievements.

You're all whores :P

I guess Metal Gear Solid 4, I've completed that 4 times and was halfway through it again (PS3 broke last week though >_>).

I hardly ever complete the story in a game, unless it's a really good game, but even then it's just once or, in very rare circumstances, twice. I think I completed Force Unleashed 3 times, the 2nd time to max everything out, the 3rd time because it was so fucking easy.

I've completed MGS4 13 times.

But that's nothing compared to Uncharted.

I've beaten it so many times I've lost count.

Somewhere in the 30s, I'd say.

RPGs I'll usually do twice over.

First time purely for the story, the second to gather everything the game has to offer.

If a game has varying difficulties I'll usually complete on easy first, again for the story, and then shoot to the hard mode.

ahhh Sonic and Knuckles with Sonic 3 on the sega, I must of beaten that over atleast 10 times. Mainly because the stupid thing would sometimes erase my saved data.
Like one time after I beat it with Tails I went to go see the Rugrats movie, and then it was gone.

Beating the Final Boss is hard with sonic when you don't have the emeralds, with Tails and Knuckles its easy because Tails can fly, and knuckles doesn't verse that machine.

I've also beaten it with all characters

I like how most people have played a game that they got very early on so much. It just proves that people love the classics.
