need game artist

I'm going to start working on a shooter game now, and i want it to be cartoony at about 30fps and 550x250. This will be my first game, EVER. I have just started learning AS, but i feel i know plenty to make this game. If you think you're worthy to do the art, post some examples of your work. I'll choose who i want to do it; and then i will communicate game details(which are still open).

here is an example of a game i made(only a tutorial level where you dodge the asteroids).
NOTE: wait a few seconds before you press play, because there is no preloader and not waiting may cause glitches.

The art you have here is pretty good actually. I don't think you need an artist. Go with this art, continue this game, and you're looking at a daily award.

The only thing that looks like youd want to change is maybe the ship itself. Everything else I see here looks pretty well done.

I know the art is okay, but i don't want to do the art anymore. It's simply because i want to focus only on the AS, so i can crank it out a bit faster; and learn a bit more as i go. I am using flash 8.
the art will include small ships, aliens, bosses, and animations for all of these.
