Not too bad there fella. I'd suggest you keep a constant light source. Might be an idea to actually draw a sketch of a light bulb where the light is coming from. As a reminder.
Secondly, you obviously are having trouble shading smoothly, trying to keep in the lines.
(Here's what you do:
1. Paint all the flat colours on a separate layer. (or layers)
2. Take out the magic wand tool.
3. ENSURE you tick the anti-alias box, and set tolerance to 100.
4. Select a flat colour area that you want to shade by clicking in the centre of it.
5. Create a new layer.
6. While the area is still selected, paint your shading with the brush on low opacity and hardness. This way you will never paint outside of the lines, and it looks quite sexy.
Make goddam sure you work on new layers to separate shadowing and flat colour.)
P.S. Sometimes 100 tolerance is too much, just mess around with it. Ctrl-Z is your best pal!
