Old franchises revived.

What old game franchises would you like to see recreated for the current generation consoles?
I don't mean do a remake of the original game, instead make a brand new game from an old series.

I'd love to see a new Marathon game, although due to Bungie whoring themselves out to the masses by making more Halo games (I could swear they said they were only making 3, they're up to at least 6 with the 2 upcoming ones) it may well never happen.

Also I'd like a new Road Rash game.

As for me Id like to see the Oddworld series make a comeback.Strangers Wrath was OK but my major problem that was about halfway the gameplay completely changed which was weird.But the Oddworld series was great.The character design and sheer creativity was just astounding in my opinion.Also they had a good sense of humor.

I wouldn't really consider Final Fantasy that, considering the ridiculous amount of effort they go to for every game in the series.

Yeah I see your point. I was more ranting about Bungie as a follow on to my initial post, but SE definitely fits in there somewhere. It's not so bad to whore out Final Fantasy games because they're probably the best games they make, but it would be nice to release something else some time.

Most certainly Oddworld. So many games in the franchise were cancelled and they never even finished their "quintology". Only two games in the main series were ever made. Yes, I'm aware there's a new Oddworld game on its way, but not only it'll take years to come out, but this game will be developed by Maxis so my expectations can't be at its fullest for what I truly want from a new Oddworld game.
