The 'overtyping' of the term 'lol'.

I couldn't help but notice that when I am talking to my friends on MSN, or chatting to someone online on anything, they are CONSTANTLY, and when I say constantly - I'm not putting that into loose terms. But literally; they say it every 15 seconds.
Me: yo guy what up?
Friend: lol, not much you?
Me: nothin' much, nothin' much.
Friend: lol! coool
Like what the hell, I don't know what people find so funny about aye man what up. And sure it's okay to say it when theres nothing else to say, but saying every 4 seconds - now THAT just pisses me off 'cause you aren't really Laughing Out Loud.. at all. What are your thoughts about it?

haha, i would be really brief and not very helpful with this post, but an armadillo with a jet pack and mini rockets is both creative and totally badass, so i'll help you out. you can talk pretty much wherever the topic takes you, so long as you don't start flipping out on somebody and posting stupid shit that isn't relevant to anything at all. for example, if someone came in here and posted the barney bunch will rise again. that's called spam. other than that, it's pretty much just like talking to your friends. not too much to worry about.
