Trouble converting audio 2009-07-15 12:40:48 Reply

I still haven't been able to get a decent audio recorder, so until then I recorded with my video camera. Problem is, I can't find any freeware program that converts the video to the sampling needed for Newgrounds to accept. I already tried converting to audio first, then using another program to change the sampling. Anyone can help me?

Nice going... did I mention I needed to convert a video? It doesn't even accept the video as a valid file!

Well, considering you posted in a forum specializing in audio I don't really see how you can blame us for that one.

theres audio in video

depends on what format you can extract audio from video in cool edit pro

or you could just record the audio as its playing, if you use windows
type "sndvol32 -r" in run command (windows key + r)
select "stereo mix" or "what you hear" or whatever its called
then open audacity or whatever, remember you need lame encoder
and press record

I wasn't trying to blame anyone, I just responded in the same tone as him, seeing as I specified it was video to audio and he seemed to be mocking me without even reading what I was saying...
