The word means healthiness when translated into English. It is a German word so that guy could be from Germany. Also Nazis were a political parry that came to be after the first world war. During WWII a lot of Germans did not like what Hitler was doing and tried to help. So to stereotype a German as a Nazi is being racist and utterly stupid. Also if someone says gazunteit to you they aren't calling you a Nazi they are wishing you good health, so instead of yelling at them say "thank you".

It's a hangover from the medieval period, if you sneezed back then, due to the lack of anti-biotics - it could mean your life was in peril. Hence the 'God Bless You'.

I was going to say something to this effect.
German people / people from Germany are not all fucking Nazi's.
Also, Hitler was a dictator, and those rule without the consent of the public, so even though a large portion of Germany didn't like him, he still was a royal asshat.
Gesundheit is a polite gesture, so get off your high horse, stop being a racist, and don't be ignorant.

Well, "Gesundheit" has been used for a long time, and basically has the same meaning as "bless you". And people say it because they want to. And saying "gesundheit" does not make you a Nazi.
