Hey, I'm a Flash Noob - I'm making a slide show. I want to get experienced opinion about how I'm approaching it.
I import the jpgs
I put them in graphic symbols
I then use the graphic symbols to make animated mcs.

Does that sound like sensible technique for keeping file size to a minimum?

Thanks for your feedback

I don't think the symbols will affect your file size enough for you to notice, also I approve your method.

Sounds pretty confusing, why can't you just have each jpg placed on a separate frames? What kind of animations are you doing anyhow?

Sorry if it sounds confusing.
When a thumbnail is selected, The corresponding image is to slide into position on the stage in triplicate.
That's why I figure I should use symbols rather than the original jpg.
Does that make sense?
