Tips on joints

Hey, I didn't find any rules regarding this, so if any mod finds this thread to be wrong, please delete it.

I sometimes enjoy rolling a joint to relieve the everyday stress, but the way I roll it, makes me feel like I'm wasting a lot of weed (and for .7R$ a gram, which would be something like 35 cents, that's wasting a LOT of money). So, I ask of you newgrounds, any tips on how to roll joints without wasting?

I meant "wasting" like, there are some remains left that can't be burned, like when the filter in a cigarrete brakes and you just can't smoke all the tobacco.

My friend usually gets a cigarette gets all the tobacco out by slowly twisting it then fills it with weed, pulls out the filter and twists the paper where the filter was, completely amateur but it's fast and effective. If you're worried about the cost of weed then you shouldn't be smoking joints, it's far less practical just set up a bucket tightly pack the cone and down that, ones all you need to get wacked.

For me, i enjoy joints more than bongs, pipes, etc. Here's a few tips that i follow that might work for you.

I always buy the EZwiders extra wide. And i always use two sheets per joint. Sure it's a lot, but a more dense wrapper is more secure IMO

One trick that works well for me, is to roll a small joint, roll ONE end, and pack the other end in with a pen. This way you don't have weed falling out everywhere. You know where it's going.

Finally, i always roll a joint a few hours in advance before i smoke them. If you give it a little time, it'll stay in that form, rather than feel loose and probably fall apart.

Practice makes perfect. But I strongly suggest adding a "filter" yourself, so you have no weed at the end of the joint where your mouth is i.e. a little piece of thick paper/thin cardboard and you can more easily smoke the whole thing. Even then you lose from second hand smoke.

The most practical thing is just to buy a small pipe, you can usually get those for cheap.

I once made a bong with one of those giant 20 liter plastic containers of water (for water coolers). It was cheap and effective (but more for like 3 people at the same time to smoke).

Another good solution is knife hits. There isn't really a cost if you use kitchen knifes and your stove.

You just have to be creative man.

And I didn't tell you any of this.

Put in a filter. It's called a 'tip' (at least in Dutch it is). But you could also just not put weed near the mouth? I mean, that's the question right?

Cotton filter apparently filter THC, we use a a small bit of rolled up rollies packet as a tip, stops you putting out a joint which still has weed in it and stops ya burning your fingers.

Grind up the weed (preferably with a grinder thingy designed for weed), roll tight, but not too tight so that more smoke comes. If you do roll too tight, go along the joint pinching lightly and roll it between your fingers so that it loosens up.

I normally don't roll joints when I smoke them, my friend does. But he usually puts the weed on a flat surface like a rubbermaid or something like that so no weed falls onto the floor. Then he rolls the joints like normal.
If you still see weed in the container, use the tip of your finger to pick it up, the weed will stick to your finger, then you just use your thumb to pick it off and into the joint.

Sticky weed usually isn't as good to roll in a joint. Well, at least that is what I was told by a guy who rolls joints and blunts all the time.

My advice, get a pipe.

Smoking weed in a joint is good, sure, relaxing, etc, but through a pipe is just as good and relaxing, without any of the hassle.

You can get them cheap, too. :D

A bong, you don't waste any that way.
If you want to splash out for a long term investment, get a vaporizer.

In my experience the fastest and best highs I get are when I smoke with my bong. You just get more smoke and the smoke isn't as hot. I can roll a smokeable joint but I usually just use my pipe or bong.

You just stretch your joints, every day, like when you get out of bed. Then you roll your shoulder joits. That should help. And why would you have weed in your joints?

Sticky Weed(Dro, Specialty Strains.) = Good.
Hard Weed(30s, Mersh, Mexican booboo bud.) = Bad, harsh, cheap. Will most likely tear the paper.

The guy who told you this probably smokes the grass on his front lawn.

Pipes and bongs are your friend, joints take a lot of practice on rolling, they're a pain in the ass, and pipes look nice.

I usually roll french joints, it's a joint with a cardboard filter usually made from part of a cigarette box. There is usually far less roach when you roll a french joint, and it's just easier and more enjoyable to smoke. When I do have roach's I usually just save them up and smoke them in a bowl at a later time.
