Let's see you act in an epic movie like Transformers. Yes, he's a good actor.
Are you one of those weird people who likes doing surveys for money? I would suggest you click this.
Free Stuff. Do Surveys. Easy.
I am with you all the way. The only movie he didn't screw up with his neurotic over-acting is Constantine. And it's no coincidence his best role is the one where he died.
He's angry because he knows you can spell "Labia House" out of his name.
Shia Labeouf is a terrible actor, and his punishment from the gods is that he shall perpetually look like he's 16 years old.
I just wonder how he keeps getting acting work.
THE END IS NIGH!
Yeah he's a douche, but he might be good eventually, because of all the jobs he's been giving.
He also looks like a foot.
A gross one.
He is terrible. I don't know how he got to work with Spielberg in Indiana Jones, but it's probably because of his connections. With a bit of training I'm sure I could do a better job than him.

He's ok for the nerdy-type character, like in Transformers, but when he tries to be anything else (Like the "badass" in Indy 4) it just comes off as lame or trying too hard.

Cute isn't quite how I'd describe, but he wasn't even that great in that movie. I think he was only really good on his Disney tv show Even Stevens.
Shia Labeouf, hmm...
That's that tan woman from the Transformer movies, right? Yeah, she sucks. lol
i actually saw him in a hotel once, i guess i should have punched him huh.
The Edge... there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over. - Hunter S. Thompson
I think he's alright.
He does a good mental breakdown.
But his balls still haven't dropped on account of the occasional testy-pop voice break while speaking.
.....There was a hole. *sig by LimitedMortality*
Maybe because that Michael Bay can't fucking direct his actors emotional performance?
he was the best in [url=http://tekken.namco.com/tournament/
?character=char2_r1&fbid=ySCh6YFKEPr this]THIS[/url] scene
Shia Labeouf is so fucking lucky. Like half the movies he plays in he acts like some nerdy dweeb who gets laid by this hot chick. FUCK YOU SHIA LABEOUF YOU LUCKY BASTARDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD.
FUCK SOAP.
I haven't seen him in too many of his major films (Transformers, Indiana Jones, etc), so I can't comment on those. However, he played the lead in both Disturbia and Holes and I liked his work there. He also had supporting roles in Constantine and I, Robot which I thought he did fine in as well.
He probably only got the Indy job because he didn't punch Spielberg in the face when he read the bit about aliens. The only scene I've ever liked of his was in Transformers 2 when the blond goes all fembot on him and he starts screaming like a little girl, probably his most true to self movie moment yet.

I thought his performance in I, Robot was absolutely terrible. Then again, I am pretty cynical when it comes to people's acting abilities.
He's a far better actor than Megn Fox. But then again, thats not saying much...

To be honest I can't remember him having a massive role in I, Robot, just a few comical lines and then running away. Did he have a bigger part that I'm forgetting?
there is not a role that he plays that could only be done by him, he is interchangeable with any other actor of the same age
I actually like him as an actor, I don't see what most people complain about. Yes, his accent is mildly agitating, but apart from that, I think he's actually a decent actor. You guys who think he's really bad at it need to look at some REAL examples of bad acting (in my opinion at least)

i think that he does a good job of the stuff he is in but i hate the characters he plays. a good actor in my opinion is someone who could go for any role and ace it, and truthfully i dont know off the top of my head any actor that i would class as awesome.
I'd like to see him play a mentally deranged role where he doesnt fall back to his current acting style, and saying that has made me think of someone Brad pitt is an awesome actor, stuff like 12 monkeys and fight club then to something like mr and mrs smith all totally different roles pulled off so well, and edward norten american history x, fight club again, red dragon remake, the illusionist all examples of mixing it up whereas shia falls into the same roles everytime
also his whiny voice and general appearance anger the fuck outta me

I agree that his style is somewhat limited, but it doesn't make him bad at the roles he's in. Although, he does do some quite different roles, for some examples: Holes, Indy 4, Nausicaa English Dub, etc. Ok, I know the last one was just voice acting, but he did pull it off very well, and I actually liked Indy 4, because I chose to see it as a tribute to the Indy series rather than a sequal, which was how it was meant to be viewed.
Anyway, I agree that there are far better actors out there, but that doesn't mean that he is awful.
