Zone-Sama is keeping good artists out of the top five :/. But still congrats to the winners. JohnnyUtah's flash should have been #1.
You're contradicting yourself. Zome-Sama's hentai piece was way better animated than Facebook Twitter.
Facebook Twitter had some excellent character drawings and designs, yes, and I'd expect nothing less from Johnny. But, he didn't really do much pure animating, which is usually the case with him. His general shtick is to make one or two well done backgrounds, and a couple of very well drawn characters, but then just lip-sync the entire cartoon. That's not that much animation. Don't get me wrong, it's a lot of work- lip-syncing is time consuming and the characters are well drawn.
But, Zone-Sama not only drew characters well, he animated them in ways that were far more challenging to translate. There was MUCH more movement to animate in his hentai flash, as well as a lot more background images to draw, which were all very well done. His drawings were not only very well done, but his animation of his characters moving and the like was also professional grade.
It's a real shame Zome-Sama keeps doing hentai animation, but then again, that's how he makes his living, so I can't really expect him to spend his time on well executed non-hentai projects that will bring him no revenue when he needs revenue to LIVE.
Also, I'm still pissed about CrippleKane. GRRRRRRR
Also also, I want to see Johnny Utah make a flash with more action and movement. I know how well he can draw, but I want to see what he can do with action happening. I'm just curious to see what he can do, since I do like his art style, and I'm getting tired of him only doing dialogue driven flash instead of branching out with his talent.
